A constant struggle.

Depression Speaks

Desperately, she seeks peace of mind. 
Entangled in her life’s daily grind. 
Pressure building up inside her heart. 
Relief only comes when the tears start. 
Exhausted from trying to be strong. 
She’s constantly told she’s always wrong. 
Shamed, humiliated, she still stands. 
Irritated, the world in her hands. 
Obscured from reality, she cries. 
Never showing the pain in her eyes.
