A Cat Tale

Ryan, a bushy, brown wildcat, came from the Catskill Mountains. He was an ambitious feline and graduated from college. Then he became sheriff of a small town in Wild Cat Township in Riley County, Kansas. All the cats respected him.
One day a gunslinger cat came to the town. "I'm gonna shoot you, Sheriff," said the gunslinger. Then he repeated, "I'm gonna shoot you, Sheriff."
"Aw, shucks," Ryan drawled. "You ain't nothin' but a copycat."

P.S. We really do have a feral cat who, although he has never attended college, acts like a guard dog, er, cat. He has to meet everyone who comes into our house to check them out, and he is known for spending hours outside, even in below freezing temperatures, to keep a certain desperado cat out of the backyard.
