No Looking Back

Her hair danced around her face as she took in a breath of freedom.
“No more looking back,” she whispered as she adjusted the rear view mirror. A lump came up in her throat. “No more,” she choked.
She gritted her teeth; squeezed the wheel and took another deep breath.
