A chapter in the book Red Skeletons

Paralyzed by your Promises

by Mia Twysted

Paralyzed by your promises

I cannot see the truth

My gaze is obstructed

By the spider web, you spin

Paralyzed by your promises

I spend hours alone

Wondering what I have done wrong

To make you so distant

Paralyzed by your promises

I sing sad songs

Desperately judging myself

For not being enough

Paralyzed by your promises

I get lost in the haze

Leaving my mind to wander

If I am not better off dead

Paralyzed by your promises

This world I leave

Wishing I could have been

More of the woman you need
