Exceptional

We got to do better

My black brothers and sisters, we got to do better.

Scared of change so we wear the same old sweater.

Ray Charles to the truth so we continue to live a lie together .

Killing each other is our norm so it's whatever.

We need to clean our act up, pass the lysol?

Hoping our childish ways finally start to thaw.

You give a black person a book and they won't read it.

We idolize the hood instead of overcoming it, I guess we need it.

We envy our people when they rise to the top.

Jealousy is why Cain killed Abel, this shit needs to stop.

Personal failures, we blame on the crackas and the cops.

We struggle to find a job because our dirty piss shows when we have to do a drop.

Concealed to carry is survival because at anytime we can get pop.

Sell our soul for fame then later we regret that we swapped.

We use the Bible as a crutch instead of finding truth in it.

We are just as corrupted as the government and the senate.

Rappers promote guns, drugs and sluts.

We bang those songs on the radio while getting turnt up.

We need to be role models to the younger generation.

Our mistakes should promote change, but somehow we still need persuasion.

Materialistic goals are our investment.

We need to step back to make a honest assessment.

If we don't do better, we will always be slaves.

Stop putting your trust in crackas or we all will end up in the grave.

Road to redemption the Messiah already paved.

We pay for luxury and we think we got it made.

My people dying over Jordans and gold chains.

Society labels us as wild animals that can't be tamed.

Temptations pulling up on us like diapers.

White people target us like deadly snipers.

My black brothers and sisters, we got to do better.

Standing unified with purpose should be our ultimate endeavor.
