Sly's The Boss

My name's Sly, and I'm the handsomest cat around.
When I'm in the mood, I make a loud purring sound.
I love Mommy and Daddy, and I am the boss.
If I don't get my way, I can get pretty cross.

I want them to forget they just gave me a treat.
I annoy my daddy. I will stand on his feet.
I am a big cat and see no need to play.
When my daddy's asleep, on his legs I will lay.

Mommy sits by the puter. I get in her way.
I will lay on an afghan she wants to crochet.
I really don't like any people to visit.
If visitors are not careful, they might get bit.

When Mommy kisses my nose, it makes me feel nice.
If I was an outdoors cat, I'd love to eat mice.
When I sleep, I will hide my head once in a while.
When I lay on my mommy's lap, it makes her smile.

I love sleeping on my daddy's pants and his coat.
I enjoy having him pet my head and my throat.
They love me and always show it by things they do.
We're meant for each other. I know this to be true.
