Why do so many people hate; not love

Precious and unique children from above?

Some think it's okay to gossip and judge.

They can't let go of a long-standing grudge.

In this world there are too many that kill.

Some people do it just to get a thrill.

They shoot bullets at someone's back or head

Even after they are already dead.

All these people have chosen the wrong path.

We don't care if jail they face, and they laugh.

They have a lot of time to think things through.

Some regret what they decided to do.

They killed, they will have to pay the price.

Jail's not a good place; in some there is mice.

Some of these inmates miss their dear ol' pop

Who killed children and was killed by a cop.

They copied their dad; their life got off track.

The person they killed cannot be brought back.

Some truly repent; tears run down their face.

They hope one day they'll get out of this place.
