Shades Of Blue

by magic dragon

Rondel Poetry Contest Winner
White sands softly tread,
beautiful seas, shades of blue.
Colourful sea life, something to view,
sun's rays touch the salty seabed.

Moving waves, sediment stirs, seashells embed,
a home for a hermit crab, this is true,
white sands softly tread,
beautiful seas, shades of blue.

In blue skies the albatross flies overhead,
a soft breeze blew,
while turtle swims, a journey he wants to do,
with sweeping oceanic currents, to a destination he is led.
White sands softly tread.
