Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
She felt so alone.

Depressed

She was depressed and ran away.
All she would do is cry.
This precious daughter of mine
Kept her innermost feelings inside.
 
Some bullies at school hurt her
They made fun of a scar on her face.
She did not see her beauty.
Her friends would not stay by her side.
 
She tried to talk to me.
I would not listen with my heart
Although I wiped away her tears,
I did not see the pain in her eyes.
 
One day she called me
And told me she felt so alone.
She felt her heartaches were too much to bear.
Sometimes she wanted to die.
 
She wanted to know if I loved her.
She thought I didn't really care.
She said, "I'm a nobody."
My pain will never go away.
