My Pets

At the end of a busy day
 
Home is the only place I desire to make my way
 
Do I ever like being at home
 
You as a friend may think I should
 
Have any of you ever thought to ask why I would
 
A friend as dear as you surely could
 
Pet dog and cat  are truly my best friends
 
Dog gone it I never ever have to ask them.
