This work has reached the exceptional level
Have we not all been subject?

The Veil

by victortouche

Before me.
Special occasion.
Various vocations.

Gramma says,
Momma says,
Oft hand sewn.

Laid out
Like a Sunday suit.
Pressed reverence
For all to see.

Now,
They lay
In a drawer.

I forget what for.

Something more
Than guilt,
It seems to me.

What
Can they
Reveal?

Beauty?
Within, or
Without?

Order,
Written,
Or...sewn?

Chaos?

Revealed, or
Remains...
To be seen,
Eh?

Difficult to simultaneously use
metaphorical rhetoric constituting
physical and spiritual veils.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
