Just sharing about me
Hello ~ My Name is Debi Lee

My name is Debra Lee, but Debi is my nick name
Because my mom wrote poetry, of course I did the same
FanStory is a Godsend, with friends l'm proud to claim
I've printed all their pictures and put them in a frame
When I care for someone, I have oceans of emotions
They bubble up inside of me, as if they were love potions
God blessed me with a tender heart and sincere devotions
To bottle up my feelings, they'd soon become explosions
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm quite a chatterbox
It's hard to shut this girl up, or stop her when she talks
I have my quiet times; so not to miss when Jesus knocks
I'm open with my faith in God, of Christian Orthodox
My husband's name is Glen and he is the real McCoy
Michelle, Jason, Bridget; are my two girls and a boy
This entire Summer, all six grandkids we employ
They're here to help us out, but they mostly bring us joy
So this is who I am; I have a little more to tell
With Lupus and a wheelchair, l once thought I was in hell
They've given me some hope, either way I will not dwell
With God, my friends and family, my life is pretty swell

Tomorrow, July 7th, I will be going in to have a surgery to straighten, strengthen and completely reconstruct (they say with extensive hardware) my right leg and a knee replacement at the same time.
In September, if this one is doing well, they will do the same with the other leg and the Doctors tell me that if all goes as planned, and much hard work, they are hopeful that I will walk again by Christmas.
I humbly ask you for prayers, as this is quite a major surgery for me.
