Sensing the feeling of a glorious new day

Morning Glory

After awaking, I wander onto my patio. I watch in wonder
morning awakening, stretching delicate arms of pink and gold
I listen as soft winds whisper gently to burgeoning green unfold
while morning birds provide a delightful song-filled symphony
 
My whole being tingles as I drink in the effervescent fray
Savoring the magnificent flavor of this glorious new day
