Purgatory #46

by Brent & Sami

This room feels like purgatory;
Waiting to continue my story.
I'm surrounded by locked doors
I pray until my knees are sore.
The stagnation is killing me
Unlocking a door would set me free
In the silence, a voice from above
tells me with Godly love,
"Patience is a virtue
Waiting here will not hurt you."

But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
Romans 8:25
