Repression #47
I am waiting for the end to find purpose.
I sit her patiently, shaking and nervous.
Another monkey dancing in the circus.
I did not ask to be here I just simply endure
Sighing with hurt, standing at the next door.
I open with caution, soaking in my sores.
I know that my pain has to go somewhere.
I stuff and stuff until I cannot feel no more.
It comes crashing down and hurts worse than before.
It lingers inside my bones and aches like hunger
An endless pit in my stomach, it makes me older.
Slashed into my face feelings of when I was younger.
I hear a faint voice as I look in jagged old mirror.
"Let go of your pain and God will draw nearer."
Free yourself from yourself, live as a believer.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded"-James 4:8
