A teacher gets caught
How I learned to stop cursing
by ADanmole
The author has placed a warning on this post for language.
Speed-walking through the quiet, empty hallway, I stub my toe. “Fuck!” I instinctively half-whisper as the searing pain grows. It doesn’t fade completely before I continue on, managing to get to the classroom just as the dismissal bell sounds. As Ray, Jason, and Sam walk in, Sam shoves Ray, who stumbles a few feet before saying, “You’re full o’ shit, Sam.”
“Language, gentlemen,” I say. “Please take your seats.”
“I know she not talking ‘bout language,” I hear Ray say under his breath, as he nears his seat at the back of the classroom. “She just said the f-word.”
