Still grieving, the house's missing him, free versew/ rhyme

Thoughts Of Mosey

by Lulube

You always gave me your love
You were there ev'ry morning
And your sweet kisses on my toes
Helped, not to feel lonely at night

You were my welcoming home
Never wanting anything back
Your loyal and cozy cuddles
Would make the bad days feel alright

I'm so sorry that you're gone
Devastation, left for me
Wish you stayed for a long, long time
That's the way I hoped it would be

Maybe I shouldn't begrudge
Truth being; you were so tired
All the times you fought for your life
Showed how much you wanted to stay

My heart tore apart when I
Found you under a table
Placed you on the bed beside me
Till you quietly, slipped away

I'm so lost now that you're gone
With courage I fight for me
Stare at photos, remembering
Life's not how I thought it would be
