Peace on earth among all unique people of many races and different religions genders and social classes. I pray that we come together sharing hopes and dreams of a new year fill with love, good health, and prosperity. We can beat the virus once and for all. We can build back better and protect voting rights- For the People Act. I may be in denial but it’s just my prayer and some positive thinking, my friend, I wish you the best year!  |

ETHEREE is an imagistic unrhymed poem with ten lines and the following syllable count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. It can also be reversed 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and doubled 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 The poem has rhythm, meaning, imagery, and sometimes an underlying second meaning.
This poetic form was named after its creator, Etheree Taylor Armstrong, (Feb. 12, 1918 - March 14, 1994) an American poet from Arkansas. Her poetry has been published in more than 30 languages, has appeared in the Congressional Record, and in Readersâ?? Digest. The For the People Act, introduced as H.R. 1, is a bill in the United States Congress to expand voting rights, change campaign finance laws to reduce the influence of money in politics, ban partisan gerrymandering, and create new ethics rules for federal officeholders.
