Makes No Sense

Why?

Why did their dad kill them? Why?
They did not deserve to die.
They had so much life to live.
I'm sure that they will forgive.

It happened so fast I know.
I know their mom loves them so.
I know fear was in their eyes
When their dad did this "surprise."

Are their words their dad did say
Before he killed them that day?
Did they try to run or scream?
Did they think it was a dream?

They won't get the chance to date,
Get married and have a mate.
They won't finish their school years
And graduate with their peers.

I will try to comprehend.
All the broken hearts will mend.
Christ will judge him in the end.
He is wise and is our friend.
