Wake Up!!

Astrid the loving puppy
Likes to hear my morning moans
Wakes me with loving kisses
That result in lots of groans
 
Just as the sun is rising
Tongue to mouth, the wet is felt
Then if she gets no response
Gives a look, your heart would melt
 
Now awakened, yes by force
I stumble out of bed
Followed by the furry one
Who is begging to be fed
 
Wolfs down the plated offering
Scrounges to see what’s about
Astrid, you loving puppy
Wakeups I can do without
