Learn from them

Mistakes Happen

I will remember this day
For it's causing me to pay
More attention to details of things
given me to do
Especially when they are about things
that I don't have a clue.
I am saddened by a mistake that I made
The pain and frustration experienced
is going to take a day or two to fade.
Thankful for the valuable lessons learned
Opening doors for new ways to earn
I am now listening to a small, still, voice within
Urging me to be patient, creating reflections,
Affirming that slowing down, is not a sin.
I can now take time to think things through.
Especially those things for which I don't have a clue.
I will change things if I don't quit
All I need to do is to focus and use my knowledge and wit
I am intelligent, gifted, and wise.
I will take a deep breath and let out a sigh!
I will choose to believe for I know that I can succeed
I am willing to give success my best
For I know I can
