Sucked in ...
Clean sweep!

Drama always accompanied Anna.
Calm, measured Bella brought peace.
"While I'm vacuuming, I'll clean the husks from Jack's cage," thought Anna.
Whisking the end from the cleaner, she started sweeping his cage floor.
Disaster!
She caught Jack's tail, sucking him backwards up the hose.
Anna screamed.
Jack squawked.
His demise was imminent. Beady eyes wide with fright, he flapped his wings in emergency mode, thus saving himself from disappearing entirely.
Bella swiftly switched off the power, and gently extricated Jack.
