We all make mistakes

Mistakes Made

Have you ever done the wrong thing?
Right or wrong is a simple choice.
I bet you felt a guilty sting,
in not heeding your inner voice.

Sometimes that voice is not so clear,
that leaves you with much fear and doubt;
But in your mind they hover near
and you must work to seek them out.

For mistakes made within the past,
atonement for them calls on you.
Sad memories will linger, last
and haunt you till your days are through.

Mistakes are always hard to bare-
But, one should always show they care.
