My muse is the song, Make It Happen.

A Song

My muse started
with a song,
I slowly heard the lyrics,
I believed every word.

Instantly, I was inspired
by the words, "Make It Happen,"
I no longer felt discouraged,
it made me kept going.

It was my wake up call
to be optimistic and 
positive.

She had been discouraged
but pushed on,
and so had I.

If it wasn't for this song,
then I wouldn't be
where I am today.

I listen to it
to believe in myself,
and of course,
I write every day.
