a 75-word story
Frozen in Time
by Bill Schott
Having grandchildren in the house took him back to when they first moved there and their kids were still in grade school. He recalled having to watch "Little Mermaid" on the VCR a hundred times with his seven-year-old daughter. Now her girls were staying the weekend with him.
"We have an hour before you go to sleep, girls. What should we watch on Disney?"
The five-year-old said, "Frozen 2, Papa. Anything but Little Mermaid."
