Autumn Finale

Roiling clouds race across the heavens
Blown asunder by west wind thunder
Fallen leaves - gold, crispy brown and crimson
Fashion colorful mosaics on tawny lawns

Swirling seeds fall to the ground become
Buried like bodies in cold cemetery graves
Awaiting April's thawing sun and misty breezes
Bidding them to burst forth – Resurrected!
