This work has reached the exceptional level
A Loving God...

Our God is in Control

Despair sprang forth--entered my heart;

Sadness was there - right from the start.

Jesus gave back what Satan stole -

Lord, I now see you're in control.




Mighty and Holy is your name;

Seeking forgiveness from all shame.

Forgiveness from sin - made me whole -

Lord, I know you are in control.




Your steadfast love and hope... divine,

...directs me to the living Vine.

Your peace brings comfort to my soul -

Lord, I know you are in control.




Merciful in your loving ways,

With boundless love, I give you praise.

To keep your commands is my goal -

Lord, I know you are in control.




Thanking you for your love and grace;

Streets of Zion I will embrace.

When Christ opens the Holy scroll -

Lord, you're forever in control.
