The earth awakens

The joys of spring

by Joanne Gill-Maddick

The snow is melting and the smell of spring is in the air.

Kids splash through mud puddles. Without a worry or a care.

No more shivering cold there's a gentle warming breeze.

The grass transforms to a bright colour green.

The trees now bear new leaves.

You can now take a leisurely walk without slushy snowy pavement beneath your feet.

Mother nature's springtime gift is a very welcoming treat.

Spring is such a beautiful time. An awakening of life, and a time of rebirth. I love springtime. My photo is from google.
