You are nearby, oh simple swing of my golden years.

Pensively, I walk by your home, the neighborhood's friendly park,

and a light sweetness calls me in.

On a whim, I jump into you, playful swing, 

and up and down, I seem to fly above it all.

Everything seems lighter from that view above,

and, as if by magic, I become the darling image

of a bouncing girl of six!
