There Are No Words For Today

by Reese Turner

There’s a comfy, cozy restaurant
Just down the street from me.
Sitting at an outside table with
My wine is where I’d like to be…

Further down, a theater plays
Older movies. Remember when
The movies were of romance and
Classy love. Wish we had again…

Walking on down the street, a
Florist - her flowers are so divine.
I often stop to visit, but end up
Buying some for that wife of mine.

So, do you like my neighborhood?
Imagine, cooled by gentle breeze,
Strolling along, soaking up sunshine…
Not today, pal! There’s snow-to-knees!
