Losing my Mind

by poetwatch

Lord, have mercy on me this day.
I don't know what to write or say,
without your words, I am so blind.
Lord, I know I'm losing my mind

I wandered in life here and there,
a lost soul seeking that didn't care
if it was lost or left behind.
Lord, I know I'm losing my mind.

I heard the whispers in the wind,
the devil's tongue said I should sin.
Yet, your love, for me, is refined.
Lord, I know I'm losing my mind.

Please, help me understand this life,
For I have walked the halls in strife.
My soul, will it be reassigned?
Lord... I know I'm losing my mind.

Write a Kyrielle writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains (four lines) that rhyme (any rhyme scheme can be used). Each stanza (quatrain) has a line that repeats from the previous stanza. That line is usually the last line in the stanza, but it does not have to be. Each line is made up of eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. A Kyrielle is usually made up of three or more stanzas. For this prompt, a minimum of three stanzas is required.

Sometimes, I feel like that my mind has left its home, and I feel so alone. I ask for help, and there He is. My Lord never leaves me.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
