Beastly Laughter

When I smiled
You laughed

When I talked
You laughed

When I tried
You laughed

When I tired
You laughed

When I failed
You laughed

When I cried
You laughed

When I fell
You laughed

When I bled
You laughed

When I prayed
You laughed

When I died
You laughed

When they took you away to live with the other hyenas

You laughed and laughed and laughed
