God is omnipresent and compassionate

My God will comfort me

by Justin Chopin

My God Will Comfort Me

When, I'm feeling saddened with my own miseries.

My God will comfort me.

When, I'm worried about tomorrow and all of its anxieties.

My God will comfort me.

When, I find myself crying at this world and its atrocities.

My God will comfort me.

When, I am petrified to venture out of the comfort of familiarities.

My God will comfort me.

And He will do the same for you.

Because He is The Christ, Holy and True.

Come to Him for He is compassionate and He cares.

Come to Him with all your sins for your burdens are not too much for Him to bear.

Bow down be at ease and pray to the Savior,

Who can liberate you from yourselves and bestow upon you His favor.

He will take you in His Mighty arms and fill you with jubilation.

As He sees you begin to live once again through the power of His salvation.

My God will comfort you.

I was inspired to write this piece after a sermon. The sermon was about how God was omnipresent that He was with us through all of our trials and tribulations especially with all of the craziness this year has brought to us. Hope you enjoy.
