Power, one realizes, comes from the people represented Opts to make decisions for good of the country, not for one’s self Leader who takes actions that will earn meaningful respect Instructor of his constituents and one who empathizes with their needs Teller of truth – always demonstrating a profile of courage Idea put forth to protect the interest of all citizens always one’s goal Charge from those one represents to be a good person and do the best one can Immunity to wrong doing, should be a politician’s promise out of hand Announce emphatically when one knows that political lies are willful untruths Navigate ignorance, tell the real facts, and protect those who one represents
