CUBE16 Poem

Sometimes... I See the Stars!

by Sally Law

Sometimes I sit,
sometimes I don't.
Perhaps I will,
perhaps I won't.

However near,
however far;
I'm searching for
the brightest star.

The sky's a blur,
it's hard to say,
if I will see
them anyway.

Heaven is mine,
but not for long.
I'd better scribe
my starry song.

I'm nearing the end of my eyesight. Saturday, my husband surprised me with a date, a telescopic view of the blue moon and stars over the Atlantic. In a rare event, I sighted the North Star without my telescope. I cried with delight! The blue moon was obscured, but we saw it for a few seconds. It was awesome!

Thanks again to Jannypan for this video below. I watch this regularly since she shared it with me last year. Blessings, dear Jan, and thank you for the cool video link!! I put on my red shoes and danced!
