A Nove Otto poem for the Potlatch Challenge

Passing Storms

by June Sargent

Once hurricane has moved away
and angelfish come out to play,
as waves begin to settle down
and sun cuts through the clouds to shine,
the sea fans form a dancing line.
Sometimes life's storms can make us frown,
but soon they pass and peace can reign
as long as joy our hearts sustain -
allowing hope to be our crown.
