Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
rhyming stanzas.

A budding non conformist.

by Sanku

Leave your footwear out here, my dear
Barefoot we must enter,
For in the hallowed halls we are near
The circle of God's splendour.

Though a frown creased her little face
The child nodded her head.
As all stood praying for his grace,
She whimpered instead.

"Hush now my baby do not talk
Close your eyes in silence."
But the baby screeched daring to mock
temple's sacred balance.

Many pairs of eyes stared in shock
At the blithe innocence.
The budding non conformist rocked
The base with insolence!
