How Things Actually Went Down

Some people's lives are chaotic from the moment they are born. However adults who had orderly and predictable lives prior to having children learn really quickly that having kids means hardly anything goes according to plan EVER AGAIN.

Do you have a funny story about how a child in your care made your plans veer off course or how their surprising opinions, hygiene issues, health issues, favorites, dislikes, or just plain personality quirks added variables to an otherwise predictable day?

You may be surprised how many people have a similar story.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 18.00 member dollars. There are 12 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 54.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
