Pen Me a Flash Fiction Tale

Write a story that starts with the sentence: Fear found her. (You're allowed to change her to him). Your story must start with the sentence above. Do not add to the sentence. You have the option to put it in quotes (for dialogue) and to change the punctuation at the end. You can add more to the beginning sentence to enhance it. The story can be about anything but start with the sentence above. The story can be about any subject you wish. Creative approaches are welcomed but the contest voters will be aware of the challenge made here to begin your story with the sentence provided. Required words to utilize in your flash fiction story: chaps - badge - creep- costume - varmint - beauty - dirty - saddle - wild - relations. (You can use plural forms of the words and make sure you use at least eight of the ten words into your story.

Minimum length 200 words. Maximum Length 1,000 words.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 36.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
