Poetry Contest
May is Mental Health Month here in United States. One out of four adults experiences a mental illness event in their lifetime. It may be depression, anxiety, or a mood disorder. Treatment is available, yet only one third of affected people seek and receive treatment.
Share your positive experiences by developing a poem that describes your emergence from the darkness of mental illness into the light of recovery.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool of 36.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
