Review Reviewing
Write an essay, op-ed or RANT, if that is your state of mind, on the "art" of reviewing here at Fanstory. You may approach any or all aspects, the star system, the rankings, the awards, the quality or lack of quality ... whatever occurs to you. You may offer your vision as to what reviewing SHOULD be like here. You may write whatever you wish to write about reviewing here at Fanstory including a "How To" instructional guide based on your experience. You may criticize any aspect of reviewing here as you see fit.
There is one exception. You may NOT mention anyone by name or in anyway write anything that would infer any individual here at Fanstory, past or present. Yes, you may speak of copy and paste reviews, fluff reviews as you define them, "so-called expert" reviews, etc.
No holds barred, however, complaining without offering solutions or alternatives doesn't help, true?
Any presentation is acceptable. Do NOT use any actual reviews from the membership. You may create fictitious examples to illustrate your points, but don't copy and paste any review by a past or current member.
The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 55.00 member dollars. There are 7 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
