Human Versus Animal-20 Syllables

Poetry Contest
Write a poem exactly 20 syllables in length on the topic: Human versus Animals. You may focus on man's destruction of animal's environment, right to life or well-being. You may focus on man's ingenuity in his struggle to survive when confronted in the wild. OR, whatever strikes you when considering the topic at hand.

Your presentation is entirely up to you, but there will be NO AUTHOR'S NOTES to supplement your piece. I repeat: NO AUTHOR'S NOTES, other than a thank-you to the artist for works used. The words and presentation must speak for itself.

Yes, the title, words and presentation are ALL part of your piece and should be considered when judging and voting.

Remember, 20 syllables EXACTLY, NO AUTHOR'S NOTES.

The contest winner will win half of the prize pool which is based on the number of entries. The second and third place winners will each share the remaining prize pool. The prize pool is currently 25.00 member dollars. There are 13 spots still open. If all open spots are used the prize pool will be 90.00 member dollars. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.

Deadline: Contest is closed. Deadline was Sunday, May 13, 2018.
