Poetry Contest
April is National Poetry Writing Month (or, for our international participants, Global Poetry Writing Month). The goal of this contest is to create a book of poetry (30 poems) to represent an entry written for each day in April. You may enter your Prologue on March 31, to tell us all about the motivation for your book, using either your prologue or Chapter 1, your choice, as your entry for this contest. The topic is your choice, even a collection of 30 unrelated poems that you write in April 2017. Any style of poetry is permissible. I am posting this contest today to give us ample time to fill all of the slots. This contest is winner takes all! Please do NOT begin writing your poems until April 1st.
The contest winner will win the full prize pool. This is a winner take all contest. In this contest at least 2 submissions must be made for the vote to begin.
