The Man in the Moon

by damommy

Oh, Man in the Moon, where are you now?
Your face looks different these days somehow
They walked on you and broke your heart
Romantic songs leave out your part

I love to see your handsome face
So round and smiling up in space
Each night I share things I hold dear
And there you are, so far, yet near

Always listening, so serene
Last thing I see before I dream
I love you, Mr. Man in the Moon
Good night
Sweet dreams
I’ll see you soon
