and I could hear their croons.

The songs of wrens are lilting sweet,
are lilting, lilting, lilting sweet.
and ease a sorrow for a while,
and ease a broken heart.

1st 2 or 3 syllable in Line 3 repeated in Line 4

Syllable count is 8, 8, 8, 6, and rhyme scheme is AAab, B,B,b,c, and so
