Beautiful poem about Nature.
There are so many wonderful poems in this contest and it was really hard to pick a winner. With only one vote, I must mention Bag Lady, Queen, Jacob, Frustrated Poet, My Holiday and Serial Killer, all of which are good enough to win in my opinion. However, in the end I chose Life of a Stone for its innovative idea, simplicity of expression and the profound twist at the end. Brilliant!
This poem was certianly worth waiting for. It made me cry.
