Educational poem about migration and rookeries. Beautiful picture of egrets using a rookery in Texas! Photography is excellent!
Comments For Redbird Sings to me Each Morning by Liberty Justice
Redbird Sings to me Each Morning is so lovely and amusing and soothing.
Comments For Rainbown beauty by rjuselius
I admire the way the author alluded to the bird as ' iridescent velveteen'. Very poetic and accurate as that is the way the feathers look in the sun. I'm not crazy about the title for this, tho. What does rainbown mean?
The King's Crown Is Upside Down, by Fanstory's Robin Feiner, is a children's picture book for ages 7 and up.
Delightfully told in rhyming verse, this story features a young hero (Sophie) who encourages a self-conscious king to show himself even though he is different. Sensitive and silly, this vibrantly illustrated tale will show readers that when we embrace diversity and difference, we open up a world of friendship and possibilities.
