LisaMarie71: I am a former stock broker and financial advisor (please don't hate me for this). I got out of the business before the crash due to dibilitating physical problems and temporary loss of sight. Due to being disabled, my husband left me as he did not want to be a nursemaid, even if it was temporary. He promptly filed for divorce and left me with a pile of debt and medical bills. I have had several eye surgeries and have regained my sight for the most part, but the physical problems persist, but are slowly being worked out. I have decided to go back to school and earn my Masters degree in Biblical Theology. I know what you're thinking. Talk about a 180 degree switch in focus. Well yes it is. In fact it is this focus that made me quit my job as a stock broker in the first place. I want to teach, but also to write. I want to be a positive effect on the world. I have varied and diversified interests, so I want to post many types of writing. I hope that members will help me to be the best I can be. ~"There is in every true woman's heart, a spark of heavenly fire, which lies dormant in the broad daylight of prosperity, but which kindles up and beams and blazes in the dark hour of adversity." ~ Washington Irving |

Today he is in his seventies fighting diabeetes blindness but is a writer and had several books in print. Happy as a lark knowing Jesus and casting all his cares on him. - | ||
