Jontae: I've learned that the better you are at reading, the better you will be at writing. Reading expands the limits of your thinking. The mind is the sum total of everything we have seen (read), heard, or done to this point in our life. So when we write we have this vast storage of information to pull from. It's amazing what the mind can conceive. We just need to learn to let the mind talk to us. There is one other factor that plays in to writing, or at least into mine. I've always felt that I write from the soul. And that is what puts the emotion into my writing. So I guess I could say it's my 'soul' reason for writing. |

Jontae: I love to write. My dad loved to write poetry and he wrote two books (1 published). So I guess my quest for writing comes from him. |
