Awww, that's sweet. My granddaughter has been riding since she was three. The first time she saw a horse she was hooked. It won't take this little one long to become an expert if that's what she wants.

What a perfect one-liner, Sally! I love it.
I had a book when I was a kid, about this young lad who got a pinto pony for his birthday. He loved that horse.
Lately, I've been watching "Outlander"... not the sex scenes though, my wife fast forwards over them. I just finished an episode where 6 or 7 Mohawk warriors are traveling back to their village (700 miles) in New York state. The horses they are riding are beautiful big horses. What would man have done without these marvelous animals through the ages? How many died in battles?
The little girl knows she is too small to ride this big horse. But he loves her, and she loves the horse. When she grows up, she promises to ride him. But will the horse even be around then? Is it just a little girl's dream?
